Professional quality shampoo and conditioner for cheap? I say yes!

Welcome back to another exciting post about affordable beauty products. I have recently discovered the new Suave Professionals hair care line. I know you all think that Suave is your grandmothers shampoo but they have revamped their image and products. Those commercials you see for Suave professionals that show hairstylists using it with out knowing it is actually Suave and think it is professional quality is the TRUTH. I LOVED this product. I constantly watch youtube for reviews of things to help my own hair and as always I am a thrifty shopper, so I keep an eye out for affordable products. I discovered the Suave Professionals Humectant Shampoo and Conditioner and I instantly fell in love. I read reviews of it and people who have done tests between Suave and Nexxus have said Suave preforms just as well if not better than the Nexxus brand. See for yourself in this article.

I have bleached hair that is dry and I used the Humectant and it is soft and shiny not to mention it smells amazing like coconut or tropical( I love coconut smelling things).
Above is a picture of what the bottles look like. I bought mine at Walgreens for about $3.00 each and they are biiig bottles so they will last a long time but you can probably find them cheaper at Walmart. One more little tip, I have found the conditioner to be a great deep conditioner, leave it on for 30 minutes and it will feel super soft. Try it out and let me know what you think :)

AMAZING Wet N Wild eyeshadow pallets

So gals I found some awesome eyeshadow palettes with beautiful shimmer. I was so excited when I found them because it was affordable and had different eyeshadow colors in each one. The first one I bought was called Sand Castle. This includes neutral shades such as browns, golds, bronze, and tans to a shimmer white shade. Above is a picture but it does not even do justice to how much shimmer it actually has. It is perfect for going out or a fancy dinner, makes blue and brown eyes pop (After all I have blue eyes). The next palette is called Fantasy Island. This particular pallet includes your blues, greens, a matte brown, pink, and a tan color. I like to use the blues in this pallet since I don't really like using green. However if you have green eyes it might look nice. So far my favorite is the Sand Castle, you only need a sweep of a color on your lids and your good to go :). I bought them at Walmart for 3 or 4 dollars each. Not to shabby for a great eyeshadow palette.

New favorite covergirl eyeshadows!

Alright ladies I have found some AMAZING AFFORDABLE products. Covergirl has always been a favorite makeup brand of mine and their new eyeshadow quads are becoming my favorites. I have two quads I would like to talk about it. The first one is Drama Eyes 222. This quad has a beautiful array of colors including a matte white (no shimmer or sparkle), a matte black, a shimmery silver, and a gorgeous slightly shimmery burgundy (reminds me of wine) shade. I have found this quad to be perfect for smokey eye looks. You can also use the colors alone make your own look. The next quad is called Ice Princess 230. It includes a shimmery deep purple, a shimmery lighter purple, a pearl periwinkle shade, and almost matte lavender. Don't quote me on the exact colors but you can see for yourself in person or in the pictures. This quad I think works best with purple outfits or you can use the light purple for just a fun light highlighted eye look. I bought these quads at Walmart for $4.84 each before tax. Man I love Walmart :). Well that is all for this week, next week I will talk about a trio eyeshadow that is a must have for your makeup collection. Stay beautiful!

The beginning of a BEAUTIFUL journey

Hey beautiful girls, thanks for taking an interest in ATR and my blog. This blog is going to be about beauty products the good, bad, and the ugly... well I suppose the great products and the not so great products. I, like many women, have bought some makeup or hair products that I regret spending money on, well luckily I have learned to become thrifty and spot a good product when I see it. I am going to share my favorite products and give you a heads up on some products that aren't worth spending your hard earned money for. I'm thinking I will have a new product every week or some kind of beauty fact. I hope you enjoy this beauty journey with me and keep checking in for new fun things :). You are all beautiful inside and out!

Thanks for reading,
